No, when the, the dahlias had gone because the fields that the dahlias were being grown on, were then the frameyards for the shrubs in containers. ‘Cos this was all a new idea you see, in the past people only bought shrubs and trees and things in the autumn when they were dug out the ground, but once you put them in containers, in pots they could then be sold any time of the year. So that is what started this Garden Centre revolution if you like. The transition from the forties and fifties way of doing things to gradually coming on to nowadays you see.
