Looking for relations to interviewees

The Dacorum Heritage Trust Ltd

As part of the Talking New Towns project we looked at the oral history collection we currently hold at the Museum Store in Berkhamsted and identified those related to the New Towns development.  We have digitalised them, with the hope to make them more accessible online.

Please have a look at the names below.  Are you or someone you know related to any of the following people? The Dacorum Heritage Trust Ltd would really like to hear from you.

  • Phyliss Coomber (nee Wetherall) born 1925.  Phyliss moved to Hemel Hempstead in 1952 and worked at Rolls Razor.
  • Nellie Black born in 1918 moved to Adeyfield in 1951.  Nellie was one of the first residents of Adeyfield and helped to set up Adeyfield Free Church.
  • Gwen Marshall was former Councillor and Mayor of Hemel Hempstead.  Gwen moved from London to Hemel Hempstead in January 1951.
  • Eileen Waite who moved from Willesden to Adeyfield in 1951 and then worked at Brocks Fireworks Company.

The Dacorum Heritage Trust Ltd. are trying to find the relations of these people.
