Furnishing the new home

I called it marvellous, it was very good, we never had nothing, we didn’t have a lot of furniture to bring here, cos we never had none. We gradually got on, got everything we wanted, took a long time but we did get everything you know. We bought some in Maulden, like a put-you-up, a dressing table and a dining room suite, that was it until we got going. It didn’t worry us that we didn’t have anything, but that was alright.
