In October 2015 The Dacorum Heritage Trust created a successful exhibition at the Marlowes Shopping Centre in Hemel Hempstead.
Over 4 days we spoke to over 235 people about the Talking New Towns project.
During the exhibition we exhibited excerpts from interviews we have recorded over the past year. These ranged from factual accounts to funny stories to give you an insight into this era.
We also asked for children to contribute a drawing to our New Town mural. They included drawings of their house, fire stations, parks, swimming pools and even a museum!
