Barbara: I’ve just thought of something else that’s, that’s changed enormously over the years. When we first got here and we registered with a Doctor, he lived at the top of Harvey Road, and, with his family, in a Corporation house and his surgery was in the front room, and then, that lasted I think for, I mean he was there before we got to Stevenage erm and I think it lasted for about a year…

Peter: Yeah

Barbara: And then he moved to a specially built surgery for him up the top of Mobbsbury Road which was…

Peter: Mobbsbury Way

Barbara: Mobbsbury way which was close to Harvey Road and so we used to wander along…

Peter: No, Chells Way, Chells Way

Barbara: Chells Way so, we used to wander along to see him in Mobbsbury Way and then as more and more people got here that surgery was enlarged so that there were two doctors and then another big surgery was built at the bottom of Chells Way.
