Well the first car I went in I can remember going in was my Dad’s twin brother, Bert – he didn’t get married until he was in his 30s so he was sort of a bachelor at home and he had this grey car and it was sort of like a sort of a Lagonda thing and it had a roof that went back.  But how you got it back was each side of the roof was these big mechanical sort of clips that you pressed down and the roof went back and it had big running boards at the side and I remember going to visit my grandmother’s sister who lived in Essex in it with my father, mum and my little brother.  And when we parked outside it caused a sensation, it was the only car in the street and the wheels used to wobble. I remember it had a wheel wobble.
